Kasa Keyboard

Kasa Keyboard is a free, ad-free, subscription-free and privacy-focused Android keyboard designed for everyday writing.

It helps you write faster and stay in control with practical tools built directly into the keyboard. You can access clipboard tools, Secure Text, emoji, optional GIF search, Image to Text, calculator and visual themes without constantly switching between apps.

Image to Text:

Kasa Keyboard helps you extract text from selected images directly on your device. You can scan the full image or select only the area you need.

The result is not saved automatically. It is first shown in an edit screen and is added to the Image to Text board only after your approval.

This feature is useful for text that cannot be copied, document numbers, short notes, addresses, codes, invoice details, screenshots and specific fields inside documents.

Clipboard:

The clipboard panel helps you access copied text more quickly from the keyboard. Pinned items can be kept, and unnecessary clipboard items can be cleared under your control.

Secure Text:

Secure Text helps you store text snippets under custom titles. If you choose, this area can be protected with your device’s own screen lock or biometric authentication.

Calculator:

The built-in calculator lets you make simple calculations without leaving the place where you are typing. You can insert either the result or the full expression into the text field.

GIF and emoji:

The emoji panel is available directly inside the keyboard. GIF search is optional and uses an internet connection to show GIF results. When you search for a GIF, the search term is sent to the GIF provider.

Privacy approach:

Kasa Keyboard does not require an account, cloud sync, ads, analytics, tracking SDKs, crash reporting, subscriptions or in-app purchases.

Your general typing, clipboard content, Secure Text items, Image to Text results and app settings are not sent to Kasa servers.

Image to Text processing runs on your device. The selected image is not stored permanently. OCR results are not saved or copied to the clipboard without your approval.

Apart from the optional GIF feature, keyboard tools do not require an internet connection. GIF can also be turned off from settings.
