HCC Patient

With the HCC Patient app, you will increase your knowledge about your disease and receive helpful tools to support your medication treatment and side effect management.

As a patient with HCC, you are welcome to use the patient support program and the HCC Patient app for free. The app is a support during your treatment and in it you receive information about your disease, common symptoms, and practical advice. We easily misplace paper, but not our mobile phones.

When visiting your doctor or nurse, face to face or via video, you are usually asked how you’ve been and how your treatment has progressed. It can be difficult to remember everything after the fact, and the app helps with this. HCC Patient works like a diary and you can easily register and collect your health data, which helps you report how you have been at visits with your healthcare provider, who gets an overall picture of the treatment.

In the app, you have everything gathered in one place, and always at hand. It also helps your communication with your family as they too can partake the information in the app, to better understand your situation and your health.

HCC Patient includes several helpful modules and features:

• Information about your disease, treatment, and side effect management

Learn more about liver cancer, get a better understanding of everyday life with your disease and treatment, and what you can do to reduce possible side effects.


• Medication treatment

Choose the medication and dose your healthcare provider has prescribed for you, and set reminders to remember to take your medication.


• Vital signs

Record and follow the development of important health signals, such as your weight, stool, body temperature, and blood pressure.


• Record symptoms

Track and follow any adverse reactions such as itching, nausea, pain, and your appetite.


• Report to your healthcare provider

When you register health data and symptoms in the app, you can export a report, that summarises how you’ve been and is helpful in conversations with your healthcare provider.

HCC Patient is a practical and easy-to-use aid for all patients with HCC.
