BUILT FOR THIS ONE MACHINE
Not a general-purpose emulator with the fx-8000G somewhere in a list. Every
key, every layout, every screen size is laid out for this calculator and
nothing else. It is also written entirely from scratch — every function, every
screen, even the font — and contains no original firmware.

This is a faithful emulator of the fx-8000G graphing calculator: the same
50-key keyboard, the same dot-matrix display, the same programming model you
remember. Because it contains no original firmware, its screens are instead
measured against the behaviour of the original machine, character for
character, by an automated test suite.

WHAT IT DOES
• COMP — the full scientific calculator: trigonometry, logarithms, powers,
roots, angle and coordinate conversion, engineering notation
• Graphs — Graph, Plot, Line, Trace, Range and the graph/text screen swap,
including the built-in function graphs
• Statistics — SD and LR (linear regression), with the original sum registers
• BASE-N — binary, octal, decimal and hexadecimal with logic operators
• Programs — ten program areas with Lbl, Goto, Prog, Isz, Dsz, conditional
jumps and Defm, plus a full on-screen program editor
• Errors reported the way the original reports them, with Step to find them

WHAT THIS VERSION ADDS
• No advertising, anywhere
• Your work is kept — memories, programs, statistics and the graph window are
all still there when you come back
• A program catalog: save a program under a name and call it from the keyboard
as "Prog TRIG", beside the numbered areas
• A library of 15 programs included, ready to run: Conway's Life, the
Mandelbrot set, an Ulam prime spiral, a Sierpinski triangle, Lissajous
figures, rotating 3D surfaces and a spinning cube, alongside everyday ones
like TRIG, QUAD, GCD and FACT
• 65536 bytes of program and 512 memories, against the original's 1446 and 100
— enough for programs the real machine could not have held
• Import and export programs as plain text, and move them between your phone
and the desktop version
