A notification is sent at the specified time. A convenient monitoring app that allows you to easily connect with others by sending an SMS message with a single tap.
[Innovative Two-Stage Safety Reporting System]
This app features a fully automated safety reporting function (Physical safety / emergency alerts) to ensure no emergencies are overlooked.
Upon receiving a notification at a specified time, if a normal response is received, a reassuring regular report SMS saying "I'm fine today" is automatically sent. If there is no response, the app is judged to be an emergency where the user is unable to operate the device, and an "emergency" warning SMS is automatically sent from the background. If the app itself stops running due to the device's power or battery running out, the regular report SMS to family members will cease, allowing for quick detection of any app malfunction. To implement this core function, this app strictly requires permission to send automatic SMS messages in the background; please be sure to grant this permission during setup.
[Setup Procedure]
(1) Launch the app.
(2) Press the [Settings] button and configure the settings. (See below for configurable information)
(3) Check the app's permissions and grant the appropriate permissions (notifications and SMS, and alarm usage permission for Android 12 and above).
(4) Click [Confirm], perform an SMS sending test and a notification test to see how it works.
(5) Return to the main screen, press [Start Alarm] to check the alarm date and time, and close the app.
Other Notes Regarding Settings
Due to device-specific battery optimization processes, app operation may be restricted, or optimization processes may restrict the operation of all apps that frequently use the battery. Therefore, please set the battery setting in the individual app settings to "Do not optimize battery" or "Do not optimize battery." Also, depending on the model, you may need to register the app name individually in order for it to run in the background, so please create an environment that works well according to your device. Some models restrict operation when the battery level is low, so please consider measures such as keeping the charging cable connected.

[Frequently Asked Questions]
Q1: The notification doesn't sound even when the time comes.
A1: Please check if the alarm permission is turned on and if the alarm time setting is correct. (If you start the alarm when the alarm time is approaching, it will be set for the next day.) Also, permissions may not be applied when setting up immediately after launching the app, so after finishing the settings, please restart your device and unlock it once to try again. To make notifications easier to notice, we recommend setting the notification frequency to 5 or 10 minutes, specifying multiple notification times, or setting an alarm at the same time (or a few minutes later) in your device's standard clock app. This will create an environment where notifications are more likely to occur, so we recommend this if you are having trouble with notifications not appearing or the sound not playing.
Q2: All notification sounds are the same, making them difficult to notice.
A2: In the app, go to Notifications > Notifications category. A category called "Alarm Notifications" will be created, allowing you to change the sound individually. Please try adjusting the sound settings here. Setting a longer sound will make them easier to notice. The notification category will appear in the app settings screen after you perform a "Notification Test" in the app's settings screen to generate a notification once. Using this in conjunction with the standard alarm can also make them easier to notice.
Q3: I dismiss notifications every time, but they keep coming back.
A3: The app considers you to have "responded to the notification" when you dismiss it by tapping the "Monitoring Confirmation Alarm, Tap Here..." displayed in the Notification Center (notification panel). Dismissing the notification in the Notification Center does not count as a response, so the notification will reappear.
Q4: I've stopped receiving notifications.
A4: Open the app and check if the Alarm Start button is green. If it's not green, please press the Alarm Start button. Also, due to OS updates or other reasons, the lock may not have been removed, or necessary permissions may be disabled. Therefore, please stop the alarm on the screen where the app is launched, open the settings screen, and confirm that all necessary permissions are granted.
Q5: I want to open the settings screen and check the settings.
A5: You cannot open the settings while the alarm is running. You can open the settings screen after stopping the alarm. After stopping the alarm, alarm notifications will not appear, so be sure to press the "Start Alarm" button and confirm that the button turns green. You can close the app screen.
Q6: I want to test if I actually receive a notification.
A6: On the settings screen, set the specified time to approximately 3 minutes after the current time, press "Confirm," and then press "Start Alarm." This will simulate the actual operation, allowing you to practice. Please note that if there is only a 1-minute difference between the alarm start time and the set time, it will be set for the next day. When testing, it is safest to close the app screen and test with the device darkened (locked).
Q7: My phone bill is higher than usual, even though I haven't made any calls.
A7: This app sends SMS messages regardless of whether you respond to the notification, connecting you with family members who live far away. SMS messages incur charges from your phone company, approximately 3.3 yen per message. In the free version, one message is sent per day under normal usage, so please be aware that your monthly bill will be about 100 yen higher.
Q8: I accidentally deleted a notification. Waiting for another notification is inconvenient.
A8: When you open the app screen, you will see a button to send "I'm fine!" [Respond to Notification]. Pressing this button will act as a response.
Q9: What models have you tested this on?
A9: The models we use as development devices are listed below. Please rest assured that it will work on other models as well.
* Galaxy A21
* Galaxy A25
* Xiaomi XIG03
* AQUOS sense3 basic
* FUJITSU F-42A
* XPERIA XZ1
If text is hidden on the settings screen, please return the font size to the standard size.
Q10: "Please wait a moment while information is synchronized" is displayed.
A10: This is displayed because the necessary apps for the application have not yet started. This often happens when the device is taking time to boot up, so please wait a while and check again.
[Terms of Use/Important Information]
As a normal usage, one message (SMS) will be sent per day, and the charges specified by your carrier will apply. As a reference for message (SMS) sending charges, approximately 100 yen per month will be incurred. (Calculated at 3.3 yen per 70 full-width characters, this is 3.3 yen per message, totaling approximately 100 yen for 30 messages per month.)
* Please send SMS messages only with the user's consent.
* Please manually perform OS updates and device restarts, and always unlock your device once after restarting. We also recommend launching this app and performing a notification test and SMS test sending from the settings screen. (Permissions may be revoked during OS updates.) OS updates can take time, so please avoid performing them during the alarm time. If the OS update is progressing at the scheduled alarm time, the alarm may remain, and the notification may only occur when the OS update is complete.
* SMS notifications may not be sent due to app malfunctions or changes/deteriorations in network conditions. If a short message is not received at the notification destination, please be aware that the notification is unresponsive. Also, please check for issues such as using the app in areas with poor signal strength, the device being powered off, the app crashing, or the app not fully starting after a device restart.
* We assume no responsibility for any malfunctions or failures, including delays or failures in notifications caused by third-party task management apps, memory cleanup apps, device-specific task management apps, memory cleanup apps, or other issues related to power saving modes, battery optimization processes, or background processing limitations.
* We assume no responsibility whatsoever for any life-threatening situations or accidents resulting from malfunctions or failures of this app. Please understand and use it only as a supplementary tool for verification and notification.
* The app may become unusable due to changes in the operating environment, such as future OS version upgrades or changes in app permissions. We cannot guarantee operation in such cases, so please understand this before using the app.
* We cannot provide support for device settings or malfunctions that we have determined to be device-dependent; please investigate these issues yourself.
