Mat: ZTL using only the GPS of your phone (data connection is required by Google Maps to show the map) informs you vocally when you are dangerously close to a gate, doesn't matter if controlled by a camera or not, and even if the app is not visible on the screen! From the menu you can open the Municipality website directly in the area dedicated to the ZTL while for most of the cities you can show the extension of the entire ZTL on the map! Say goodbye to fines and welcome Mat!
