MDS Quail offers three main functional roles to integrate workflows from upstream to downstream:

Farmers: Conduct comprehensive daily harvest reports (number, weight, and condition of eggs, including broken/rotten eggs), and create Bird and Cage Condition Reports (dead/sick birds, cage condition). All reports must be supported by photographic evidence and records.

Collectors: Efficiently manage logistics, including verification and recording of egg collection and feed distribution to farmers. All egg and feed handover processes are supported by photographic evidence for accountability. Collectors also complete scheduling forms.

Verifiers: Conduct daily monitoring or scheduled field visits to farmers to verify bird condition, egg quality, and cage suitability. Verifiers also monitor production thresholds; if production falls below the minimum threshold or if a bird suddenly dies, the system will trigger an immediate field visit for investigation.
