EkiYou Carbs

✨EkiYou Carbs is a mobile nutritional information application developed by DiappyMed, a French company that uses digital technology to support people with diabetes in their daily lives.

EkiYou Carbs was co-developed in partnership with diabetologists and a community of over 2,000 people living with diabetes. It was clinically evaluated during the GLUCAL3 study conducted at Montpellier University Hospital*.

EkiYou Carbs was designed with features to facilitate daily carbohydrate counting; it allows you to easily enter your meal and obtain the amount of carbohydrates it contains.

To do this, EkiYou Carbs offers numerous features:

🥗 Add a meal from a food database containing over 400,000 foods (verified food database based on CIQUAL (ANSES) and Open Food Facts).

🔎 Scan the barcode of commercially available foods.

🍽️ Simplify quantity selection with functional tools such as the quantification assistant to use units adapted to the food: number of spoons, portions, plate size, or grams, so you don't have to weigh food.

🖼️ Help visualize food quantities based on the size of the dish using visual cues*.
*This feature is only available for certain foods.

⭐Add foods or entire meals to favorites to integrate your daily eating habits and save time on future carbohydrate calculations.

⛹️ Record a physical activity from a wide range of options (basketball, CrossFit, swimming, skiing, etc.)

📄Export your logbook to obtain a complete collection (PDF) of your meals and physical activities for the last 7, 14, or 30 days.

📘 Easily learn about diabetes through articles reviewed by healthcare professionals (psychologists, dietitians-nutritionists, etc.) on various topics such as nutrition, mental health, etc.; as well as testimonials on everyday topics from expert patients.
