Private Business Card Scanner

Private Business Card Scanner helps you scan business cards, extract contact details, and export them without uploading your cards or contact data to a server.

It is designed for meetings, conferences, trade shows, networking events, client visits, and any situation where you collect business cards and want to turn them into usable contacts quickly.

How it works:
1. Scan a business card or choose an image from your gallery.
2. Text recognition runs on your device.
3. The app extracts the text and suggests contact details.
4. You review and edit the details before saving.
5. The contact is saved locally on your device.
6. You export contacts as CSV or TXT when you choose.

Privacy-first scanning

Business card images are processed on your device using on-device OCR. The app does not upload your card images to our servers for text recognition.

Scanned card images are only kept locally while waiting for review. When you save a draft as a contact or delete it, the copied card image is removed from local app storage.

Local contact storage

Saved contacts are stored locally on your device. The app does not use cloud contact storage, user accounts, or online contact sync.

This means the developer cannot see or access your saved contacts, scanned card images, OCR text, notes, or exported files.

Export when you choose

Exports are created locally on your device. You can export a single contact, selected contacts, or contacts from a specific list as CSV or TXT files. You can then save the file to your phone, send it to yourself, upload it to your own cloud storage, or import it into your CRM or spreadsheet tool.

Important note about local storage

Because contacts are stored locally on your device, they may be lost if you delete the app, clear app data, or lose your device. Export your contacts regularly if you want to keep a backup or move them to another system.

Ads

The app may show ads served by Google AdMob. Your saved contacts, scanned card images, OCR text, notes, and exported files are not uploaded to our servers or used by us for ad targeting.

Best results

For better scanning results, take a clear photo in good lighting. Make sure the whole card is visible, avoid blur, and always review the extracted details before saving.
