FOUR FAITH TRADITIONS
Choose your path at first launch: Protestant (KJV), Catholic (Douay-Rheims), Islam (Yusuf Ali, public domain), or Buddhism (Dhammapada, F. Max Müller / Thanissaro Bhikkhu). Every verse is drawn from respected public-domain translations to ensure accuracy and reverence.

DAILY SCRIPTURE
A unique passage is served each day based on the calendar, ensuring you never repeat the same verse two days running. Tap Refresh for a different reading at any time, or browse by theme.

TEXT-TO-SPEECH PLAYBACK
Every verse can be read aloud with a single tap. EGK PrayOS uses Android's high-quality TTS engine to speak each passage clearly, at a calm pace, in English. Ideal for morning devotionals, commutes, or quiet time when you prefer to listen.

DRIVING MODE
A dedicated hands-free interface with oversized controls, large serif text, and full voice command support. Just say "read", "next", "stop", "bookmark", or "search peace" and the app responds — no screen touch required. A safety banner reminds you to keep eyes on the road.

VOICE SEARCH
Tap the microphone in the search bar and speak any theme, reference, or keyword. The app transcribes your speech in real time and returns matching passages instantly.

BILINGUAL DISPLAY (中英)
Enable the Chinese secondary option in Settings to display a classical Chinese translation beneath every English verse — ideal for Chinese-speaking communities seeking both languages side by side.

BOOKMARKS
Save any verse with a single tap on the bookmark icon. Your saved passages are stored privately on your device, displayed with the date added, and fully playable or shareable at any time.

FULL SCRIPTURE LIBRARY
Browse the complete collection for your tradition — filtered by theme — in a fast, lazy-loaded list. Every card includes the verse text, reference, translation credit, listen button, and share button.

SHARE SCRIPTURE
Share any verse to WhatsApp, Telegram, email, or any app via Android's native share sheet. If Chinese secondary is enabled, the Chinese text is included in the shared message automatically.

DAILY REMINDERS
Set a daily notification (default 7:00 AM) to receive a gentle prompt to open your daily reading. Compatible with Android 13+ notification permissions.

ADJUSTABLE FONT SIZE
Choose from Small, Medium, Large, or Extra Large scripture text size in Settings to suit your reading comfort.

PRIVACY FIRST
No account required. No data sent to any server. All scripture data is embedded in the app. Bookmarks and preferences are stored locally on your device only.
