From the makers of Dropwords, Word Tunnel is a word-finding puzzle where used letter tiles crack and break, revealing new tiles below. Dig your way down the tunnel to discover gold and silver tiles at deeper levels that act as score multipliers. Play fast against the clock, take a thoughtful turn-based approach, or relax in untimed mode.

Choose from three dictionaries in the Options dialog: Scrabble (SOWPODS 2–8 letter words, 114,575 entries), Webster's (based on Webster’s New International Dictionary, 2nd Ed., 2–9 letter words, 120,130 entries), or Both (the default combines both lists). More game modes are coming — please email with bug reports, requests, or questions. Have fun!

Word Tunnel is highly addictive with no time pressure, save/resume, strong scoring, and educational value, plus airplane-play capability. I absolutely love this word game!!! Am I addicted to it? You better believe it! I personally believe that Word Tunnel is one of the most interesting and intriguing word games. I love the no time limit feature that lets the game continue as well as the save and resume options. Just try it and you will love it!!!

My favorite word game. I like the timed Gold Rush option. One word got me 3,000 points. I have reached 10,000+ points several times. Was having trouble with this game crashing after reinstalling. I contacted the support, the game was fixed. I'm happy again!
