Class Readers: English Stories

English storytime, word by word.

Class Readers is a read along storybook app for kids learning to read in English. Explore over 150 original illustrated English stories across 12 leveled reading stages. As the narrator reads aloud, every word lights up karaoke-style, so children can follow the text, hear how words sound and build reading confidence one page at a time.

START WITH FREE STORIES
Selected stories are free to read. The app requires an account. Premium is an optional paid subscription that unlocks the full library. The local price, billing period and any eligible trial are shown before purchase.

READ ALONG, LISTEN AND PRACTISE
• Read along with narration that highlights each word as it is spoken.
• Listen mode turns every book into a read aloud audiobook for quiet time or bedtime stories.
• Record your child reading aloud and play it back to hear their progress.
• Tap the picture dictionary to see and hear new English words.
• Check understanding with short comprehension quizzes after each story.

LEVELED BOOKS THAT GROW WITH YOUR READER
Twelve reading levels take children from first words and short sentences to longer stories with richer vocabulary. Recurring characters such as Coco the crow and Silly Sam appear across the levels, and the library mixes fiction with non-fiction books about animals, nature, science and everyday life. Choose a level that suits the reader today and move up when they are ready.

FOR KIDS, PARENTS AND ESL FAMILIES
Class Readers is made for children ages 3–10 and for families learning English as a second language (ESL or EFL). Read a page together, talk about the pictures, revisit a favourite book and let the read along audio model clear English pronunciation.

HOMESCHOOL AND CLASSROOM STORY PRACTICE
Use the leveled English stories for shared reading, guided reading and listening practice alongside your own teaching. Free mixed-age activities and a printable reading log are available at https://classreaders.com/homeschool/.

Class Readers is a leveled storybook library, not a sequenced phonics curriculum or a formal reading assessment. Its 12 levels are not school grade placements. No ads.

PREMIUM SUBSCRIPTIONS
Premium is available as a monthly or annual auto-renewing subscription through Google Play. Payment is charged through Google Play; renewal continues unless canceled. Manage or cancel in Google Play > Payments & subscriptions > Subscriptions. Canceling stops future renewals; access continues for the paid period. Purchases are protected by a parental gate.
