Niv'eau

Niv'eau is a user-friendly Chrome extension that leverages EDF water data and partner contributions to provide practical, real-time information for safe outdoor activities on lakes and rivers. It supports various activities including lake fishing, canoe/kayak, river fishing, rafting, and general browsing by offering an interactive map showcasing practice spots, water levels, flow rates, and color-coded activity feasibility indicators.

Key features include detailed charts of practice intervals, historical water data, descriptive site information with photos, real-time alerts regarding works or other events from EDF, access maps, favorites management, weather updates, and webcams for select locations. Developed in partnership with Corrèze tourism and fishing federations, Niv'eau promotes safe leisure by informing users about natural and artificial water variations, ensuring informed and cautious use of waterway activities.
