eDefter PRO: Send e-Ledger

e-Defter PRO is an officially compliant e-Ledger software approved by the Turkish Revenue Administration (GİB). It generates the Journal (Yevmiye Defteri), General Ledger (Kebir Defteri), and Inventory Ledger (Envanter Defteri) in XBRL GL/TR format, validates them against Schematron rules, and submits them to the Revenue Administration.

HOW IT WORKS

Records from your accounting or ERP software are transferred into e-Defter PRO. The application converts these records into GİB-compliant format, performs the required validations, and transmits the certificates (berat) to the GİB system. Average processing time is 3 minutes.

FINANCIAL SEAL OR E-SIGNATURE NOT REQUIRED

Submission is possible without a Financial Seal or e-Signature through the consent declaration (muvafakatname) method, in accordance with GİB regulations. Our support team provides detailed guidance on the consent declaration process.

CERTIFICATE (BERAT) DEADLINE TRACKING

For monthly submission, the deadline is the last day of the third month following the relevant month; for provisional tax periods, it is the 10th day of the month following the month in which the return was filed (the 14th for corporate taxpayers). If the deadline falls on an official holiday, it is extended to the next business day.

The application tracks these deadlines and sends notifications before they expire. Late submission of the certificate results in a specific irregularity fine under the Tax Procedure Law (VUK).

PRE-SUBMISSION VALIDATION

The Schematron validation engine performs the following checks before submission:

— Journal sequence number integrity
— Date ordering
— GİB XML schema compliance
— Amount matching
— Signature and timestamp verification

Once a certificate has been submitted to GİB, records for that period cannot be modified. This makes pre-submission validation critical.

ARCHIVING SERVICE

For users who opt into the archiving service, e-Ledger and certificate files are stored on ISO 27001-certified infrastructure. Files remain accessible through the application for the 10-year legal retention period required under the Tax Procedure Law.

WHO IS REQUIRED TO KEEP AN e-LEDGER
