ADDC SAR App

The ADDC SAR App is the working tool of the Abu Dhabi Desert Challenge Search and Rescue team. It brings the rally's checkpoints, routes, helicopter flights, crew deployments and patient handovers into one place, so everyone on the team is working from the same up-to-date picture.

This app is for ADDC SAR team members only. You'll need a passcode from the team leads to log in.

QUICK BEARINGS
Checkpoints for each rally day, plus Misc and Alarms, on a map with the distance and bearing from where you are.

FLIGHT LOGGING AND TRACKING
Log a helicopter's take-off and landing from any checkpoint map, using your phone's position and time. Between the two, the phone on board records the route flown, even with the screen locked. If you're out of signal, points are saved and sent when signal returns. The whole team gets a notification at every take-off and landing.

FLIGHT LOG
Each helicopter's flights by day, with wheels-up and wheels-down times, the route actually flown, and the distance covered in nautical miles.

LIVE LOCATIONS
Every helicopter on one map. Flying aircraft show their latest position, speed and altitude, updated every few seconds. Landed aircraft show where they last touched down.

ROUTES
The route for each rally day on a map, and as an overlay on every other map in the app. Admins can lock a day until it's released to the team.

ATMIST
Record patient handovers in the standard ATMIST format: Age and sex, Time of injury, Mechanism, Injuries, Signs and symptoms, and Treatment, plus ETA and requirements. Reports are grouped by patient so updates stay together.

NATIONAL AMBULANCE
Where each ambulance is stationed each day. Open a location in Google Maps for directions, or share it with someone else.

DEPLOYMENTS
Each callsign's plan for the day: pilot, co-pilot, SAR crew person, leave-bivi and wheels-up times, destination and the team on board.

MEET THE TEAM
Profiles with a photo, role and a little about each person. Members can log in with their own PIN to keep their profile up to date.

PLAYBOOK
Searchable reference notes and procedures for the team.

ADMIN
Admins manage the staff, roles, callsigns, pilots, SAR crews and ambulances used across the app.

PRIVACY
