Al-Diyar is a practical field app for camel and livestock owners in Mauritania to identify animal tags, locate animals, and reconnect finders with owners.

Key features include sending a lost animal location via WhatsApp or SMS, searching for registered tags by phone or WhatsApp number, and locating a tag directly on the animal. The app supports camels and cattle and is designed for desert environments with limited connectivity. It aims to reduce livestock loss, speed up communication, protect rights, and foster community cooperation. Privacy is respected: geolocation is used only to share the animal’s location with its owner and is not tracked in the background.
