Math Tutor: Algebra & Geometry

Math Tutor helps you learn math step by step, from fractions and algebra to geometry, trigonometry and statistics. Short math lessons, endless math practice problems and worked solutions, free to start and offline.

96 short lessons in 32 units take you from number sense to quadratic equations, Pythagoras and the unit circle. Every lesson ends with questions that check what you learned, and every answer comes with a short why.

LEARN MATH IN 5 LEVELS
• Number Sense: place value, fractions, decimals, percentages, factors and primes
• Pre-Algebra: ratios, negative numbers, exponents, expressions and simple equations
• Algebra: linear equations, inequalities, graphing lines, systems, polynomials and quadratics
• Geometry: angles, triangles, area, circles, volume, Pythagoras and the coordinate plane
• Trig and Statistics: right-triangle trigonometry, the unit circle, statistics, probability and sequences

STEP BY STEP SOLUTIONS
• Stuck? Open a hint, then a second hint, then the full worked solution
• Every step is numbered, and solved equations end with a check
• "Try a similar one" gives you a fresh question on the same skill

ENDLESS MATH PRACTICE
• Practice Lab builds new questions from 52 skills, so you never run out
• Easy and Medium levels, a 90 second speed sprint and a daily challenge
• Calculator-free mode for mental math, and a scratchpad on every question

GRAPH LAB AND SHAPE LAB
• Graph lines and parabolas, drag the sliders and watch the vertex and roots move
• See Pythagoras as real areas and watch a circle's area grow with its radius
• Algebra and geometry you can see, not only read

MATH FORMULAS AND REVIEW
• 5 formula sheets: algebra, geometry, trigonometry, number rules and a statistics glossary
• Formula flashcards with spaced review, and PDF export of any sheet
• A Mistake Notebook that tags each slip and lets you retest it

TESTS AND PROGRESS
• Placement test, unit tests, topic tests, mixed tests and a weekly mastery test
• A topic mastery map across all 32 units, so you see what to practice next
