Eco Collect

The plastic recycling is crucial at this time. However, finding a plastic recycling collector can be challenging with everyone's busy schedules. The non-governmental organization, Acted, understands this challenge and has taken action. They have partnered with Amila Enterprises Private Limited to introduce a mobile app called Eco Collect, aimed at bridging the communication gap between recycle service providers and households. This initiative is funded by The Coca-Cola Foundation.

This mobile app offers an easy registration process, requiring only your mobile number, name, and address. After registering, simply log in to make a request for collection. To make a request, provide your contact phone number, address, and preferred date and time for collection. Once you submit a request, the Material Recycling Facility owner will assign a potential collector for your request. The collector will visit your location, collect your recyclable materials, and provide you with an appropriate reward. After your request is completed, you can rate the collector. Your feedback will help the Material Recycling Facility owner assess the collector's performance.
