A good mosaic starts long before the first tile touches adhesive. Echo Mosaic is a planning tool for the mosaic craft: cuts, colors, grout, and finishing steps get worked out ahead of time, not improvised mid-project.
Studio is the main dashboard: how many works are open, how many tiles are ready to set, how many hours have gone in so far. The "Next practical move" section surfaces which project deserves attention next — with a completion percentage and a laying note, like a radial layout with darker tesserae marking north.
Works lists every project with stage-by-stage progress: an entryway floor medallion, a garden table rim, a bathroom niche, a mirror frame. Each work keeps its dimensions, piece count, and a technique note — wave rows, frost-safe ceramic, a double seal.
Palette tracks tesserae stock by color and material: how much sea glass teal, terracotta clay, chalk white, obsidian, or ochre remains, with a read on how far current stock covers the pieces planned across open works.
Calc estimates a new panel: width, height, tile size, and waste percentage give an exact piece count and grout weight. Estimates can be saved and compared side by side.
Progress rolls it all into local studio statistics: the percentage of production stages closed, work and estimate counts, and a recent log with time spent on each step.
