You're reading, scrolling, or watching something in another language, and you hit a word you don't know. HOW IT WORKS
1. Tap the Vocab Snap shortcut from any app, or take a screenshot as usual — Vocab Snap picks it up.
2. Tap a word, or drag to select a phrase. Selection follows real character boundaries, even in Chinese and Japanese, where words don't have spaces to split on.
3. Get an instant on-device translation, saved as a flashcard with the original context.
4. Review with spaced repetition — cards come back right before you'd forget them.

No need to leave what you're doing. Notification and floating shortcuts let you grab a screenshot or snap a photo of physical text — a book, a menu, a sign — without switching apps first.

BUILT FOR REAL TEXT, NOT JUST TYPED WORDS
Text recognition runs on-device for English and other Latin-script languages, plus Chinese, Japanese, Korean, and Hindi. Drag-to-select handles multi-character phrases and words that break across lines, which matters most in the languages where a single OCR "word" can otherwise be a meaningless string of characters.
