Earth Circa

Earth Circa is a living astronomical clock — a real-time visualisation of where we stand within the great cycles of nature. Unlike the rigid grid of a conventional calendar or the relentless forward march of a digital display, Earth Circa shows time the way Earth experiences it: as continuous, overlapping, spiralling circles.

At the centre, the Earth turns in real time — day into night, night into dawn. Around it, the Moon traces its precise path through the lunar cycle, waxing and waning through its 29.xx day journey. The outer ring carries the calendar year, seasons shifting through the zodiac as Earth completes its passage around the Sun.
