THE 24 RUNES OF THE ELDER FUTHARK

This app is built on the 24 runes of the Elder Futhark: Fehu, Uruz, Thurisaz,
Ansuz, Raidho, Kenaz, Gebo, Wunjo, Hagalaz, Naudhiz, Isa, Yera, Eihwaz,
Perthro, Algiz, Sowilo, Teiwaz, Berkana, Ewaz, Mannaz, Laguz, Ingwaz, Othala
and Dagaz.

They stand in three families, the aettir. Freyja's Aett is survival, physical
need and the making of life. Heimdall's Aett is the forces of nature and the
challenges nobody avoids. Tyr's Aett is society, the mind and the spirit.

Every rune has a full entry: what it means for love, health, money and the
spiritual, what it means reversed, its symbolism, and the historic rune poems
— Norwegian, Icelandic and Anglo-Saxon — each beside a plain translation.

The app marks off what you have read as you go, so you can see how much of the
futhark you have worked through and what is left.
