DG NFC Automation

DG NFC Automation is a Chrome extension designed to streamline your time recording process using NFC tags. It enables automation of check-in, check-out, and task switching by scanning NFC tags programmed with specific punch commands. The setup is straightforward: acquire writable NFC tags, use the extension to encode the punch commands onto the tags, and you're set. Each scan automatically performs the designated action, making time tracking hassle-free.

This extension supports NDEF-compatible NFC tags like NTAG203. It stores task and client names on the tags, and if a task isn't found later, it creates new ones with the stored names. This feature is particularly useful when multiple users or different installations of the Time Recording app need to share the same task names.
