DuckDuckGo delivers a privacy‑first search and browser. Our built‑in search never tracks your queries, while third‑party tracker blocking and cookie controls help limit data collection. Optional AI features like Duck.ai are private and never used to train models, and tools such as Email Protection and Duck Player improve privacy for email and YouTube viewing.

Additional privacy tools include HTTPS enforcement, App Tracking Protection (blocks hidden trackers in other apps locally—uses a VPN connection but is not a VPN and does not collect data), fingerprinting resistance, and secure sync across devices. The Fire Button clears tabs and browsing data, and cookie pop‑up suppression further reduces tracking. The DuckDuckGo Subscription adds a VPN for up to five devices, access to more AI models, personal information removal, identity restoration, and clear terms and privacy policy links.

I really need you to make it. So when I download your app again on a different device that I can skip over all of the popups telling me how to use your app, I replace my phone probably 2 to 3 times a year. If you're mad about the fact that Google got rid of snippets and instead added AI overviews, get this app because the AI here is completely optional. You can turn it off easily, and you'll still get the helpful snippets that come from an actual website. It's just like Google, but without AI, which slowly makes you dumber and teaches you to believe the first thing you read.
