Par Groups

Coordinating a golf group can be a hassle. As more people join, more effort is required to keep track of each member's availability, determine pairings, and communicate back and forth. Then, if someone drops out, finding a replacement and updating everyone can be a pain.

Par Groups is an app intended to make this coordination easier. A user can estabilish a group, then other users can apply to join, and once approved, can view and respond to golf invites from the administrator by pressing either an 'available' or 'not available' button within the app. The responses to these invitations are summarized for the group administrator who can then select a group of golfers to participate based on those responses. People who don't use the app can be managed as a guest.

When the administrator has finalized the list of golfers, pairings can be determined and sent to each member through the app. If plans change, one person can be removed, another replaced, and new pairings can be sent out with little hassle.

Users can also communicate with the admin privately, or use group chats associated with events.
