Drakvard

Drakvard is a Viking tafl (Hnefatafl) strategy board game set in a stark Norse dark-fantasy world. You command the dragon guard: defend your golden king against a ring of besieging raiders and carve a path for him to escape to one of the four corners. Every piece slides like a rook, and you capture by flanking an enemy between two of your own — simple rules, deep tactics.

Across 30 hand-tuned levels in four chapters you face boards of growing size and an ever-sharper AI opponent, from the lesser 7x7 tafl up to the great 11x11 siege. Earn up to three stars per level for clean, efficient wins, unlock medals for your deeds on the board, track your full battle record, and reshape your campaign with selectable hall backdrops and board surfaces — oak, stone, ice and bone.
