IamBeacon

IamBeacon turns your Android phone or tablet into a Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) beacon. Open the app and your device starts broadcasting an Eddystone-UID beacon frame that any BLE scanner, gateway, or detection app nearby can receive.

WHAT MAKES IT DIFFERENT

Most beacon simulator apps generate a new identity every time they run. IamBeacon gives your device a persistent beacon identity: the instance ID is generated once and stays the same across app restarts and device reboots. That makes it usable as a real fixed identifier — for presence detection, vehicle detection, asset simulation, or testing beacon-based systems — not just for one-off demos.

PRIVATE BY DESIGN

IamBeacon has no internet access — the permission isn't even requested, so the app is technically incapable of sending data anywhere. No accounts, no analytics, no ads, no tracking. Your beacon ID and settings are stored only on your device.
