DriveDesk Staff is the operations companion app for car dealerships that manage their test-drive fleet with DriveDesk. It is built for two roles on the ground: valet drivers who run test drives, and gate staff who control vehicle movement in and out of the dealership.

NOTE: This app is for authorised dealership staff only. There is no public sign-up — your dealership administrator creates your account and shares your login credentials.

FOR VALET DRIVERS
• See your assignments at a glance — active jobs, schedules, customer details and vehicle info, with search and history.
• Show the gate pass QR for checkout and check-in — no paperwork at the gate.
• Hand over vehicles securely: the customer confirms with a one-time password (OTP) sent to their phone.
• Capture the customer's driving licence with your camera — details are read automatically (OCR) and verified with the transport authority, flagging expired licences or name mismatches on the spot.
• Run multi-stop home visits and event test drives, adding walk-in customers on the fly.
• Report trip issues in seconds — damage, delays or notes, with photos and videos. Managers are alerted immediately for serious issues.

FOR GATE STAFF
• Scan booking gate passes to check vehicles out and back in.
• See the full picture before approving: booking reference, customer, vehicle, and the assigned driver's licence verification status.
• Every scan is logged with who scanned, when, and optional notes and photos.

LIVE TRIP TRACKING
During an active test drive, DriveDesk shares the vehicle's location with your dealership so managers can monitor trips in real time and customers stay safe. Location is collected only while a trip is active — including in the background so tracking continues when the app is minimised — and stops when the vehicle is checked back in. Location data is shared only with your dealership.
