DriftRune

DriftRune is a compact strategy game built around rune placement, movement, and board control.

On a 6x6 board, each turn asks you to move one of your active runes or skip the move step, then place a new rune on any empty cell. Every rune drifts in its elemental direction after placement, which keeps the board in motion and creates new tactical openings.

Fire drifts upward, Ice drifts downward, Wind drifts left, and Light drifts right. Center control matters most, so smart placement and timing can swing the score over time. After turn 5, drift becomes stronger and happens twice. On turn 10, extra stones enter the board and tighten the lanes.

DriftRune includes solo play with a basic AI opponent and pass-and-play for two local players. The game also provides a clean loading sequence, a readable battle log, local help text, and an offline-friendly experience with no account setup.
