Features & Capabilities

Note that this app requires the WRITE_SECURE_SETTINGS permission that can be granted with EITHER a PC using ADB or root. Root is NOT required for this app, it is optional. Android 8.0+ is supported, with more features enabled on Android 10+.

Uninstalling the app will not reset the device configuration. You must click the Reset button to undo all changes made by Buoy.

This project is FOSS in the sense that the source code is freely available at https://www.github.com/tytydraco/Comatose. It can be compiled using Android Studio Canary at your convenience. While I offer support for the app, I cannot help you compile the app from source.

Excellent app! Helped me get my idle drain whike screen off down to below 1% per hour! Before, i struggled to get below 1.5% per hour, this app made more of a difference on it's own than Naptime and Servicely did whwn I was running GrapheneOS rooted with avbroot with a locked bootloader. With those apps, you need to have them running as a foregrlund service all the time in order for them to work, and Comatose isnt like that. Iys easy on your battery, and effextive too! Highly reconmended!
