Features & Capabilities

How does Socioly make life easier?
Socioly brings together contact management, chats and calendar in a new and unique way. It’s a single application that is easy to use and helps you manage all these interactions and communications in a single integrated platform saving you time and reducing coordination headaches.

Contacts Management - Contacts and Circles
A core part of socioly is helping you manage your contacts. In our busy lives with friends, clubs, kids, workmates, extended family etc it’s hard to keep track of all your phone contact and understand how they are all associated with each other. Core to Socioly is a new concept called “Circles”. Think of circles as a group of contacts that are associated with each other in a specific way e.g. social friends, school parents, Your child’s basketball team, sport’s club, book clubs, Family members etc. Circles give context to why these contacts are grouped together and form the foundation for the management of communication and event organization for that group.

Chats - Private and Circle Chat
SMS and social media messaging app chats are a daily part of our lives but managing these and keeping on top of which application had what chat and what that chat relates to is a serious drain on our time. In Socioly we support private chat, group chat and a new type of chat “Circle Chat”. Circle chat allows you to manage all the communication associated with a dedicated activity within a single Circle. That circle is specific to a group of contacts who are associated with each other in specific way, so the chat in that circle is always associated with that activity and only that activity, so it makes it so much simpler.

Calendar - Availability Calendar and Event Organiser
Socioly lets you sync your availability from your personal calendars, so event organizers can easily see when circle members are free. Socioly only shows free time, so you have no concerns about others seeing your personal appointments. The availability of a group of Circle members is colour coded in daily, weekly and monthly view. Once you’ve found a suitable day, simply select a morning, afternoon or evening time slot and then set the duration and socioly will show you who’s available at this time. This makes it easy to find the best available time slots to organize events for the Circle..
You can then send an invite to the event to all members of the circle. E.g. The basketball coach can create an event for this week’s game time to all the children on the team’s parents. Invitees can then simply accept or decline the invitation and Socioly will keep track of that information for that event. This makes it easy to your plan events for large and small groups. Once accepted Socioly sends this information to your connected external calendar. If you need to change the date Socioly can manage this. Each event is managed in the event calendar and also under the associated circle, so it’s easy to find and change the event. A circle chat session is also available for each event so Socioly makes broadcasting a chat to that event’s circle’s members making group communication a breeze.

Who uses socioly?
Anyone who needs to plan events and chat with circles of friends, teams, parents, workmates, families, hobby groups and more will love Socioly.
