Renju Gomoku is an authentic Gomoku game that applies the official international Renju rules.

What are the Renju rules?

To compensate for the advantage Black has due to the nature of Gomoku where Black plays first, forbidden move rules are applied exclusively to Black.

1. Black cannot play 3-3, 4-4, or long blocks (6 blocks or more).

However, blocked 3-3 and 4-3 blocks are allowed.

2. White has no separate restrictions regarding 3-3, 4-4, long blocks, etc.
