OmniShield – Motion Protection for Doors, Bags & Valuables

OmniShield is the new name for DoorShield. The app has been updated with the new OmniShield name and design while keeping its core movement-detection protection, with usability and reliability improvements.

OmniShield is a movement-detection alarm app for Android. It uses the motion sensors built into your phone, or a compatible optional Bluetooth motion sensor, to detect movement after protection has been armed.

When movement is detected, OmniShield can activate your selected combination of alarm sound, vibration, torch flash and screen flash.

PHONE MOTION PROTECTION

OmniShield can turn your Android phone into a movement alarm.

Place your phone securely against a door, inside a bag, suitcase or with another item you want to monitor. Arm OmniShield and, after your selected arming delay, the app begins monitoring the phone for movement.

You can adjust Phone Sensitivity in Settings to suit your environment.

OPTIONAL BLUETOOTH SENSOR PROTECTION

OmniShield also supports a compatible Bluetooth motion sensor.

Connect the sensor to your phone and place the sensor on or inside the item you want to protect. This allows you to keep your phone with you while the Bluetooth sensor monitors for movement.

Sensor Sensitivity can be adjusted separately from Phone Sensitivity.

The optional sensor can provide additional flexibility when protecting doors, bags, luggage and other belongings.

CUSTOMISABLE ALARM OPTIONS

When movement is detected, OmniShield can use the alert options you have enabled:

• Alarm sound
• Vibration
• Torch flash
• Screen flash

Multiple alarm sounds are available, and individual alert options can be switched on or off from Settings.

This allows you to configure OmniShield for different situations and environments.

ADJUSTABLE ARMING DELAY

Choose an arming delay before movement monitoring begins, giving you time to position your phone or Bluetooth sensor.

ADJUSTABLE SENSITIVITY

OmniShield provides separate sensitivity controls for phone movement detection and compatible Bluetooth sensor movement detection.

PIN PROTECTION

OmniShield includes PIN protection for disarming the alarm. The default PIN can be changed from the Settings screen.

EVENT HISTORY

The History screen records important OmniShield events so you can review previous alarm, arming, disarming and connection activity.

PRIVACY

OmniShield uses movement detection rather than cameras or video recording.

Core phone movement protection can operate without an internet connection.

IMPORTANT

OmniShield is designed to provide an additional movement alert. It is not a replacement for physical locks, professional security systems or emergency services.

DoorShield users updating the existing app will now see the new OmniShield name and updated interface.
