AC Viewer

AC Viewer is a part of the global platform that will enable mass adoption of AR compatible devices, including smart glasses by Apple, Google, and Microsoft.

The Augmented.City platform developed by an Italian technology startup consists of three key solutions – a free SDK for developers, AR software, and mobile apps for scanning surrounding objects and demonstrating augmented reality. AC Viewer is exactly the application responsible for the demonstrating part.

As soon as a smartphone is pointed on a real object, additional information from augmented reality will be displayed in the mapped city.

For now the tourists and the inhabitants of the following cities can use the application: Bari(South Italy) – the whole city St.Petersburg some parts of the city center), Amsterdam ( the Dam Square).
The application shows the following information on top of the buildings in real time:

Viewing 3D models;

Historical facts about tourist attractions;

Construction plans.
