Deco Room: Dive Theory

Deco Room is the course theory, planning tools and emergency reference for technical and rebreather divers. It is built for boats and remote sites, where there is no signal.

There is no web page hiding inside this app. Nothing needs a connection to read a second time.

COURSE THEORY

Full written theory for the courses you are training on, in chapters you can read in a sitting rather than a syllabus you scroll past:

Chapters open with a question before they give you the answer, because you remember what you had to reach for. Diagrams, worked examples and interactive widgets are drawn live rather than pasted in as pictures, so they scale with your text size and stay legible on deck in the sun.

PLANNING TOOLS

Calculators that show their working:

• Maximum operating depth, equivalent narcotic depth, best mix
• Gas density against the 5.2 and 6.2 g/L limits
• Surface air consumption and respiratory minute volume
• Rock bottom and minimum gas
• Isobaric counter-diffusion check
• Partial-pressure blending
• CNS oxygen clock
• No-stop planning on ZH-L16C with gradient factors

Every input is a bounded control, so you cannot quietly produce an impossible answer.

THE EMERGENCY CARD

Reachable before you sign in, and it works offline:

• What to do before the call: diver out, flat, warm, oxygen on
• The DAN and local emergency numbers for your region
• An SBAR call script you can read straight down while somebody else asks the questions
• A field guide to recognising what you are looking at, entered by what you can see rather than by a diagnosis you would have to already have
• Your own details — blood group, medical notes, next of kin, insurance — held on the phone, for the person who has to read them out

REFERENCE LIBRARY

Once you are enrolled, a shelf of curated diving and hyperbaric literature that opens inside the app, plus an offline search index over the research so you can look something up on a liveaboard.

ACCESS

Anyone can create an account and use the calculators, the schedule and the emergency card. Course theory and the library open once your instructor has enrolled you. These are taught courses, not a subscription.

WHAT IS NOT IN HERE

No advertising, no analytics, no tracking, and nothing to buy inside the app. Your medical details and any crash report stay on the phone.
