Sleep Sounds: White Noise

Looking for rain sounds and white noise you can shape for sleep, rest, or a quiet hour of focus?

DozeSounds is a sleep and ambient sound mixer. Layer a few gentle tracks into a scene that fits the moment, save it, and let a sleep timer fade the mix out when you are done. Sounds are stored in the app, so playback works offline without streaming or mobile data. You can leave it running in the background with the screen off, and pause or resume from the notification.

Choose from 43 sounds in five categories. Blend up to eight at once, and set the volume of each one.

Rain (7) — gentle rain, steady rain, rain on a roof, rain on a tent, window rain, soft drizzle, thunderstorm

Nature (9) — forest wind, brook, creek, river, sea waves 1, sea waves 2, sea waves 3, ocean breeze, mountain stream

Animals (9) — birds 1, birds 2, birds 3, frogs, crickets, cicadas, a purring cat, wetland dusk, songbirds at dawn

Indoor (6) — fireplace, air conditioner, ceiling fan, cozy hearth, train cabin, plane cabin

Yoga & meditation (12) — twelve calm tracks for practice or a quiet pause

Ten ready-made scenes are included: Bedroom, Camping, Rainforest, Jungle, Stormy Coast, Riverside, Train Journey, Airplane Journey, Window Retreat, and Coastal Dawn. Favorite individual sounds, or save your own mix with a cover so you can return to it later.

What you can do:

- Play sleep sounds and white noise in the background
- Set a sleep timer that fades the mix out smoothly
- Start playback with a short fade-in, so the scene does not jump in
- Adjust the volume of each sound on its own
- Mix up to eight sounds at once
- Open a preset scene, or save a custom mix
- Search sounds and keep favorites
- Set a bedtime reminder
- Use light, dark, or system theme
