JIEQI: CHINESE CHESS WITH HIDDEN PIECES
Jieqi (揭棋) uses the full xiangqi board. The generals start face up; every other piece is shuffled face down. A face-down piece moves as the piece that normally starts on its square, then turns over: a chariot can turn up where a cannon stood, and a revealed advisor can cross the river. No two games start alike. Play Rapid Jieqi (15+5) or Blitz Jieqi (8+3) online, each with its own Elo.
