Ancient divination by numbers

Arithmancy or divination by numbers, on which this App is based, was practised in various ways during the Middle Ages; and much confidence seems to be placed in this Pythagoras's wheel, which solves questions by a kind of sortilegy by numbers, where the result depends upon the unfettered agency of the mind and will, or the serious intent to predict any difficult event. The wheel is told to be able "to resolve all questions about any matter the querent desires, whether on past, present or future." Those consulting the Pythagoras's wheel should not ask more than one question on the same day and to refrain from all gibing, sporting, or jesting, and, above all, from all unbelief whilst using this mystical wheel to know the truth.
