Users generally find the Aventon Android app easy to use and good at connecting to bikes, with strong map/ride-tracking and community features. However, recurring issues include GPS not updating unless the bike is on, inconsistent distance units and lack of automatic trip syncing, mid-ride settings restrictions, map trail/auto-record problems, and intermittent blank-screen bugs. Sharing features and support are appreciated, but more bug fixes and maintenance reminders are needed.

Recent reviews

App still works as it should. Most recent update has made ride tracking more annoying though. Now the notification bell dings every 5-20 seconds throughout the ride. Not sure if this is an android notification change, or an issue with Aventons implementation, but it certainly wasn't doing this last week!
