Aurora - everyday organisation for people with DID

Aurora is an organisation app made for people living with dissociative identity disorder (DID/OSDD). It helps you structure the day, communicate inside the system and pass on what matters between parts.

ONE ANCHOR, ONE PLACE

Every screen starts from the anchor: a single vertical list, one area under the next, each with a large picture and a colour of its own. Nothing is hidden behind swipes or menus. If reading is hard right now, the picture carries you.

WHEN THINGS ARE HARD

Hold - five grounding exercises, step by step, with pictures: orientation, senses, body, container, breath. You can stop after one step. Nothing counts your progress.

Emergency - your own contacts and helplines, reachable in one tap.

Help - places to turn to, gathered in one calm list.

INSIDE THE SYSTEM

Profiles - every part can have its own profile with a name, avatar, colour and age. A name is optional.

Internal chat - write to each other, share drawings, voice notes, pictures or video. Everyone stays in the loop.

Permissions - what a profile may see and do is set per profile, so younger parts meet a smaller, gentler app.

EVERYDAY LIFE

Calendar for appointments and therapy sessions. Medication plans with reminders and a log. Diary for what should not get lost. Contacts with notes. Finder for places and things you put down somewhere. Timeline showing who was there when.

PRIVACY

Your content stays on your device - profiles, chats, diary, appointments are stored locally. No account, no cloud sync.

Only two things can ever leave the device, and both are voluntary: feedback, when you send it, and anonymous usage signals, if you switch them on in the settings. Every transmission is shown word for word in the app under "What Aurora sends". Anonymous means anonymous: no profile IDs, no installation IDs, no location, no timestamps that could tie entries together.

Aurora is not therapy and does not replace treatment. It is a tool for the day - built so that on a bad day it still works.
