Crime is a completely Turkish detective game set in a police archive in Türkiye where unsolved murder cases are kept. You piece together the evidence, debunk the lies in the statements, and find the killer.

The air is heavy; it smells of old paper and dust. Steel shelves stretch down the corridor, disappearing into the darkness, and no one knows where they end. The labels on the boxes are faded: a city, a date, a name. They all have one thing in common: no one has been able to close them.

Your badge is new. Your access is new. Your hands are empty. You take down the first box from the shelf and empty it onto the table: photographs of evidence, sealed envelopes, statements, and a single question that has been waiting for an answer for years. Who?

Each file is a world apart; a different city, a different era, a different silence. The shelves stretch from the 1950s to the present day: a mansion in Çukurova, the corridor of an express train, records of the cyber age — and shelves untouched by light. The end is not in sight.

A FEW MURDER CASES FROM THE ARCHIVES

"Silent Night in Çukurova" (1950) — A wedding night. Saba, the moneylender who had everyone sign promissory notes, is found dead in the guest room. The door is bolted from the inside, the window is closed, the mansion is silent. Seven suspects, eighteen pieces of evidence. Every suspect seems too easy — the real truth is much deeper.

"The Engineer's Death" (2024) — A construction site in Malatya. An honest engineer is found dead in his office, a bloody brick beside him. Ostensibly a tragic industrial accident. As the file is examined, murder is revealed.

This is the first shelf you reach for. Further on, the spine labels become unreadable in the dark.

HOW TO PLAY

EVIDENCE BOARD — You place the photographs side by side: an opium bottle, a sealed autopsy envelope, a coded letter, a promissory note, a fingerprint-stained cup. None of them speaks alone; they speak when two are placed side by side. You make the connection; The deduction is your job.

SUSPECT INTERROGATION — You open the cards, read the backgrounds and motives. You ask questions, the statement falls before you. There is no sound in the archive; the mystery is hidden between the lines. Statements crack somewhere; it's your job to open the crack with the right evidence. But not everyone lies — and not everyone who tells the truth is innocent.

PUZZLE TABLE — You decipher the coded letter letter by letter (substitution cipher), force the combination lock, match evidence; the record table, period newspaper, timeline, official document are all before you. Mechanically close to an escape room toolkit; but here, there's not a room to escape from, but a file to close.

ACCUSATION AND VERDICT — You say the killer's name, the verdict screen opens. You extract the answer from the file.

MULTIPLAYER — SOLVE WITH YOUR FRIENDS

You open a file with 1-6 players: you share the room code, call your team; In the written chat room, you defend your theory and vote on the joint accusation. It can also be played solo from start to finish — some detectives work alone.
