All greasy wool offered for sale must be packaged in new or repaired nylon packs, which comply with AWEX standards and have been authorised for use by AWEX.

Pressing bales close to the maximum weight can achieve savings on wool packs, labour, pre- and post-sale freight and testing. Most costs are on a per bale basis, then it is in the best interests of the wool grower to maximise bale weights. Maximising bales weights will reduce selling costs.
