DiaNow – The digital companion for people with type 2 diabetes

What is DiaNow?

DiaNow is a digital application that supports you in your daily diabetes management. It is an approved medical device for people with type 2 diabetes. All diabetes data (blood sugar, insulin, etc.) and health parameters (weight, blood pressure, steps, etc.) are automatically combined in one system. Clear graphics and helpful information and tips support you in your everyday diabetes management.

You can use DiaNow on your smartphone and alternatively as a web application or PC version. After you have registered at https://diabetes.dianow.de/signup, all functions are available for you. You can easily and quickly read out your Bluetooth and NFC devices in DiaNow. You can view clear graphs showing the progression of your diabetes and vital parameters and get an overview of your therapy progress using trend arrows and smileys - around the clock and on the go.

How does DiaNow work ?

With DiaNow, you can read out via Bluetooth or NFC the devices from different manufacturers that you use for your diabetes management, simply by pressing a button . These devices are devices being used for blood glucose measurement, insulin delivery and other health data (blood pressure monitor, body scale, pedometer, etc.).

You also have the option to share your data with your diabetes team. The diabetes team will then see the same values and graphs and can discuss your therapy progress with you and make adjustments if necessary.

Is DiaNow secure?

You have maximum data sovereignty. You alone decide whether your diabetes team or another reference person can see your data. Data storage is cloud-based in Germany. The data security of all collected data is guaranteed by uploading it to a Telekom server in accordance with the regulations of the GDPR.
