Qontra is a debate and discussion app built around one rule: your identity doesn't matter — your argument does.

There are no profile pictures, no real names, no demographic fields, no follower counts. When you enter any conversation, the app assigns you a Topic Handle — a short random code like Q7K4M2RX — that exists only for that topic. Same person, different topic, different handle. When the conversation ends, so does the handle. Nobody knows who you are across discussions, including the app itself in public-facing UI.

What you can do:
- Browse a Question Bank of debate topics — political, philosophical, social, personal
- Join or create Public Rooms: open to any user, up to 10 participants, two sides, no lock
- Create Private Rooms: invite-only, lockable by the creator, no hard participant cap
- Watch Arena Events: the system picks two users at random, assigns them opposing sides, and invites them to a live high-stakes debate.
Spectators can watch but not participate. Arenas are not started by users — the system orchestrates them

Why it exists:
Most online discussion is corrupted by identity. People perform for followers, retreat to in-group comfort, or pile on strangers based on who they are rather than what they're saying. Qontra strips that out. When nobody knows your race, gender, location, or reputation, the only thing left to judge is the argument itself.

Who it's for:
Users 15 and older. Account creation requires email or Google Sign-In, but your email is never shown publicly. Qontra is not a social network — there is no feed of who you follow, no way to find someone across topics, no persistent public identity to build or destroy.

Design principles:
- No avatars, no photos, no identity labels of any kind in public UI
- Topic Handles are cryptographically generated and collision-resistant within a topic
- Participation counts are aggregate only — you see "7 of 10 members have entered," not who they are
- Local-first architecture with Firebase as the planned persistent backend
- No analytics, no ads, no tracking dependencies
