Discover Hindu temples, sacred circuits, festivals & a spiritual Knowledge Hub.
Devomsa is a free reference guide to Hindu temples across India: their deities, their stories, and the sacred circuits that connect them. Read about the mandirs you know and discover the ones you don't. No ads, no paid features and nothing to buy: just the temples and the traditions around them.
EXPLORE HINDU TEMPLES
• 300+ temples, from Kedarnath in the Himalayas to Kanyakumari in the south
• Temples of Shiva, Vishnu and his avatars, the Devi, Ganesha, Hanuman, Murugan, Surya and more
• The history, significance and presiding deity of each temple, written in original prose
• Temple photographs, each credited to the photographer who took it
• Where a temple has its own website, open it with one tap
• Search by temple name, city, state or deity, or browse by state and by deity
• Save temples and circuits to come back to, and share them with family and friends
WALK THE SACRED CIRCUITS
Twelve circuits gather temples the way devotees have long journeyed between them:
• Dwadasha Jyotirlinga, the twelve Jyotirlingas of Shiva
• Char Dham, and the Chota Char Dham of the Garhwal Himalayas
• Ashtavinayak, the eight Ganesha temples around Pune
• Shakti Peeth, the seats of the Goddess
• Pancha Bhoota Sthala, Arupadai Veedu, Panch Kedar and Pancharama Kshetra
• The Navagraha temples of Tamil Nadu and the Divya Desams
• The regional Jyotirlinga seats of Maharashtra
Every circuit opens with its story, then lists its member temples in the collection.
SOMETHING NEW EACH DAY
• Did You Know: a daily fact about scripture, tradition, the Hindu calendar and temple architecture
• Shlok of the Day: a verse in Devanagari, with transliteration and an English meaning
• Temple of the Week: one temple featured on the home screen
KNOWLEDGE HUB
Short, readable introductions to the texts at the centre of Hindu tradition: the four Vedas, the Upanishads, the Bhagavad Gita, the Valmiki Ramayana, the Mahabharata, the Ramcharitmanas, the Puranas, and stotras such as the Hanuman Chalisa. Each entry links to related facts and, where they exist, to the temples connected with it.
FESTIVALS
Upcoming festivals with their dates and tithi, plus optional festival alerts so the next one doesn't slip past you.

Devomsa does not sell, arrange, or process any temple service, booking, or payment — it simply helps you find temples and learn about them.
