Al-Muaiqly memorized the Noble Qur’an in Madinah and became a mathematics teacher, and Maher moved to work in Makkah Al-Mukarramah, where he became a mentor in the “Prince Abdul Majeed” school in Makkah. Al-Muaiqly obtained a master’s degree in 1425 AH in jurisprudence at the College of Sharia at Umm Al-Qura University. Al-Muaiqly also obtained a doctorate in interpretation. Maher is currently working as a professor of judicial studies at the College of Studies and Regulations at Umm Al-Qura University.
