Desert Waterworks is an engineering puzzle set in sun-scorched basins where every drop must travel farther than gravity alone allows. You design copper channel networks from oasis springs to remote settlements, placing straights, elbows, junctions, solar pumps, and reservoir tanks under strict piece budgets. Each contract simulates pressure, evaporation across scorched ground, and inefficient sand seepage, rewarding planners who minimize waste while feeding multiple outposts. Twelve campaign levels escalate from simple bends to grand aqueduct grids. Engineering Intel articles connect the gameplay to real desert hydrology, including qanats, solar lift stations, and settlement storage. Achievements track mastery across simulations, efficiency, and scholarship.
