DENTAMATCH: CONNECTING DENTAL STUDENTS AND PATIENTS

INTRODUCTION:
DentaMatch is a mobile application designed to bridge the gap between dental students and patients, streamlining the process of dental care and enhancing learning experiences for students.

USER TYPES:
1- Dental Student
2- Patient

FOR DENTAL STUDENTS:

VIEW CASES: Access a list of cases added by patients, complete with descriptions of symptoms, chronic conditions, mouth photos, and any X-rays or prescriptions.

CASE CATEGORIES: Browse cases categorized into Known Cases (all dental cases) and Unknown Cases.

REQUEST APPOINTMENTS: Request to take on a case and schedule an appointment with the patient. The case details include the names of teaching hospitals.

CONTACT PATIENTS: Upon requesting a case, the patient's phone number becomes available for direct communication.

CASE MANAGEMENT: Once a case is requested, it disappears from the list of available cases and remains hidden from other students until the request is canceled.

CANCEL/REPORT CASES: Cancel or report a patient if necessary.

SEARCH FUNCTIONALITY: Search for cases using keywords to find specific matches.

COMMENTS: Comment on any dental case to discuss and share insights.



FOR PATIENTS:

ADD CASES: Add a case by providing a description of symptoms, any chronic diseases, mouth photos, and X-rays or prescriptions. Select from Known Cases or Unknown Cases categories.

COMMENT ON CASES: Comment on your own case in the comment section for ongoing communication and updates.
