This has to do with the difficult situation worldwide this year due to the virus. We look after over 2000 dental practices across Germany and have seen firsthand how difficult it was for many dentists and their staff to get enough disinfectant and protective clothing in good time and at low cost. Medical face masks, surgical gloves and many other things that are used every day in the dental practice were suddenly much more expensive or no longer available. It was only with a lot of effort that it was still possible to find suppliers who offered a reasonable price, and even then it was not certain whether they would deliver in a timely manner. To this day, many practices complain about delivery backlogs and prices that are still too high.
