What is a cryptic clue? 🤔

In every clue, there are always two parts: the meaning of the answer, and the wordplay of how you will formulate it. The components of a cryptic clue:

- Definition: What the answer means. It is often placed at the beginning or end of the sentence.
- Fodder: The words or letters you will use to formulate the answer.
- Indicator: The instruction on what to do with the element—such as mixing (anagram), reversing (reversal), or taking the first letter, etc.
