Radio Walkman

Radio Walkman 2025 has been rewrite with simple UI but easier to access/tap. This application use model view for compatibility in the future.

Since 2025 versio, this application will not use blogspot as source of radio list. The reasons are:
1. blogspot are slow, sometimes it is hard to reach.
2. blogspot is html base with rich css and others, it makes the list of radio may contaminate with other html, css and jscript.

Now Radio Walkman use github.com as source of radio list. For transparancy to user, these link are:
1 list version: https://raw.githubusercontent.com/dedetok/myradiolist/main/myradiolistversion.txt
2. list of radio: https://raw.githubusercontent.com/dedetok/myradiolist/main/myradio_radiolist.csv

Just like Previous version, when the application start, it will try to get the radio list from github and updating internal database (sqlite) if necessary.

When you play the radio, the application will connect direcly to particular server which owned by radio provider.

That is all, all 3rd party admob is beyond our control, but this application require it to service.

Old Description before version 2025
Radio Walkman is simple radio streaming online. Listen radio streaming anywhere from your mobile phone.
Radio Walkman (com.dedetok.RadioWalkman) application required internet connection for:
1. Get list of radio from my blogger https://dedetoknotes.blogspot.com/.
2. Get radio stream from Radio Station Streaming server.
3. Use to serve Google AdMob.

Radio quality is depend on streaming provider server.

This radio player is depend on streaming provider. The known problems during playback are:
1. radio streaming server use SSL that does not supporting by old Android version.
2. radio streaming server has move, dead, over load or blocking connection, error on server will be displayed on screen.

We will add your request if it is possible. Your request will be put into our blogger and you can play using this application.
Note: radio station must be free to listening and does not need any account.

This application will run on background even you lock your screen. You need to stop it if you don't use it.

This application has been developed on real device Evercoss Genpro X Pro 1.3GHz MediaTek MT6737 3GB/32GB Android 7.0, not on emulator.

WARNING: even low radio streaming uses 128kbs, in Mobile Phone it may be expensive. Use unmetered internet connection.
